Ventopedic Heel and Ankle Offloading Boot with many layers of moisture control fabric and a 3-dimensional structure inside the product off-loads pressure on the three critical pressure ulcer areas - the heel, the lateral malleolus, and the medial malleolus. Ventopedic fabric contains controlled levels of hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers that attract and expel skin moisture four times faster that regular fabric, keeping skin drier, eliminating odors and lessening the chance of skin breakdown. The fabric actually draws moisture away from the skin and allows it to escape. Clinical test results confirm that the Ventopedic fabric will remain dry even under extreme humidity conditions (38ºC/98% humidity). The boot does not absorb moisture. Large cutout on each side of the boot allows for air circulation and easier visualization of the lateral malleolus. Adjustable straps are soft against the skin. Fits left or right. Machine washable and dryable. Fabric Content 90% polyester 10% cotton. Washing temperature 160-167 degrees F (71-75 degrees C). Drying temperature 220 degrees F. Large fits calf circumference 17-20", boot height 9".
